Elsa’s attacked Subaru with a deadly blade in Roswaal’s mansion. Subaru, who has lost his life, wakes up in the graveyard. Immediately after breaking through the first challenge of facing the past, Subaru returns, holding up Emilia, who lays down just as he did when he first awoke. Subaru then tells him that he has overcome the challenge and suggests that he try the remaining challenges on behalf of Emilia, but the offer is opposed by Garfiel.
